Open-weight models are essential to a healthy AI ecosystem. Together with others across our industry, we are outlining a path for open-weight models to strengthen American competitiveness and expand economic opportunity, while protecting national security.

Midjourney is acquiring Co-Star. CEO
@banu__guler
is now Chief Design Officer at Midjourney. She's building a cross-functional design, product and frontend team for all our efforts. The Co-Star app will continue to operate under Banus complete control. Welcome Banu and team <3
Workflows are now in Grok Build.
Hand Grok a task a single conversation can't hold: Triage 100+ issues, or review thousands of lines of code in detail.
Build plans the work, runs up to hundreds of agents in parallel, and comes back with one report.
Just a tiny meow-squito causing trouble.
v0 can now turn a full Figma file into a working app.
With a single link, the agent explores your pages and frames, picks what it needs, and builds the screens as one app.
I’m incredibly excited to welcome Jacob Tsimerman to OpenAI! His mathematical talent is clearly extraordinary, but so is the seriousness and depth with which he engages on AI safety.
引用 Kai Williams @chi_t_williamsJacob Tsimerman, who won a fields medal, perhaps math's most prestigious prize, just announced at a press conference that he is "pivoting toward AI safety" and will be going to OpenAI soon查看被引原帖 ↗
Open models matter.
Ollama works hard with the model creators, hardware partners, and most importantly developers building software leveraging various open models for their own use cases.
引用 Jensen Huang @JensenHuangFor my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-W…查看被引原帖 ↗
As
@satyanadella
says, we're making great progress on shipping MAI models that are higher quality, faster and cheaper across MSFT.
In PowerPoint, our image model cut costs 84% compared with GPT-Image-2.
In OneDrive, it lifted save rates 26% and cut latency by ~25%. It's also the default model in Bing delivering great quality and performance.
In Dragon Copilot, our transcription model now covers 58 languages and halves the error rate on multilingual clinical transcription.
And of course the flights we have in motion on GitHub and Excel will no doubt be huge too!

Our team just shipped Fugu-Ultra v1.1! 🐡
By dynamically orchestrating the latest frontier models, we pushed performance up by 7.9 points. We are now beating Fable 5 in complex coding and reasoning tasks without even having Fable 5 in our agent pool.
Collective intelligence is the future.
引用 Sakana AI @SakanaAILabsAnnouncing Fugu-Ultra v1.1 🐡 We’ve been thrilled by the reception to the Fugu model family. Thanks to everyone who tried it, shared feedback, and trusted Fugu with real work. Today, we’re releasing Fugu-Ultra v1.1 → sakana.ai/fugu Upgraded to incorporate the latest frontier models, resulting in stronger performance across every benchmark shown, including gains of up to 7.9 points over v1.0, with particularly strong results on ProgramBench and Terminal Bench 2.1. Fugu-Ultra v1.1 is more capable across coding, agentic tasks, and advanced reasoning, and available at the same price as Fugu-Ultra v1.0 The frontier keeps moving, and Fugu keeps getting better.查看被引原帖 ↗

Wise words.
引用 Will Ahmed @willahmedA few principles I’ve come to believe about competition: 1) You’re more likely to win or lose because of your own company’s actions than those of your competition. This is particularly true of startups but I’ve found surprisingly true at scale as well. 2) Being copied isn’t always inspiring. But it usually means you’re leading. Don’t waste energy looking over your shoulder. Lead, don’t follow. 3) There’s more to learn from customers than competitors. Consumer markets are hard, but they’re honest. Sales, engagement, and retention are the only scoreboard that matters. 4) There’s a difference between obsessing over competitors and harnessing a deeply competitive spirit. The former distracts you from your true intuition. The latter gives you the extra motivation to do your best work. 5) Creating a market is valuable. Continuing to lead after others copy you is even more valuable. You’re innovative and durable. 6) Remember big, growing markets attract competition. Competition validates the opportunity. Now go win.查看被引原帖 ↗
MAI-Image-2.5-Pro launches today in Foundry for preview. It's our highest-fidelity, professional-grade image model.
It’s for super high quality imagery, detailed editing, precise in-image text rendering. It joins our image family of models so builders can pick the point on the quality-speed-cost curve that fits their job.

My favorite part about the new Future Tools website is watching the top 20 tools shift up and down in nearly real-time as users upvote their favorite tools. The top 20 are featured on the homepage now too so anyone can see what everyone else is digging right now.
What v0 reads from your file:
• Pages and frames
• Design tokens and colors
• Layout and text
• Icons, logos, and images
• Components and styles
• Dev resources from Dev Mode
It also compares each screen with the frame image as it builds.
v0.app/docs/figma
Also, fun fact: I add about 10 new tools a day to the site. I remove about 40 tools per day from the site. So much stuff was built in 2023 and 2024 that's now dead. Luckily I was able to build an automation that surfaces the dead sites for me now.
